Town Council and CRA Meeting Agendas

Pursuant to Executive Order Numbers. 20-69, 20-112, 20-179, and 20-193 issued by the Office of Governor Ron DeSantis, municipalities may conduct meetings of their governing boards without having a quorum of its members present physically or at any specific location, and utilizing communications media technology such as telephonic or video conferencing, as provided by Section 120.54(5)(b)2, Florida Statutes. 

Pursuant to Executive Order number 20-179 taxing authorities may hold millage and budget hearings under Chapter 200, Florida Statutes, or a local governing board holding a hearing or meeting regarding a non-ad valorem assessment, including but not limited to, those under section 197.3632, Florida Statutes, without having a quorum of its members present physically or at any specific location, and utilizing communications media technology such as telephonic or video conferencing, as provided by Section 120.54(5)(b)2, Florida Statutes.

Public Comments Information

If you wish to speak during the open public speak, which is reserved for the first thirty (30) minutes of the first Town Council meeting of every month, please complete the online comment form by following the link below prior to the Town Council meeting. Discussion is not permitted on items on the agenda for public hearing during the open public speak portion of the meeting. Speakers may also speak on the items on the agenda when the item is announced pursuant to the present policy. If you wish to speak on an item on the  agenda please complete the online comment form.

To facilitate public comments, the Town has created three (3) different communication platforms:

  • Members of the public wishing to submit a comment on an item not listed on the agenda may submit their comments by email to townclerksoffice@davie-fl.gov or filling out the online comment form. Comments may not exceed 400 words. Click Here to Submit a Form
  • Members of the public wishing to submit a comment on an item not listed on the agenda may leave a voice message at (954) 797-1071. Voice messages may not exceed three (3) minutes.
