Public Information Office

Responsibilities

The Public Information Office is responsible for the internal and external communications of the Town of Davie. This office is managed by the Public Information Officer. Examples of the projects undertaken by the Public Information Office include:

  • Advertising
  • Coordinate and facilitate various functions and activities
  • Coordinate special administrative projects for the Town Administrator and Town Council
  • Crisis communications, including administering the Everbridge System
  • Develop and implement public affairs programs
  • Intergovernmental affairs
  • Manage Davie TV, a government access TV channel
  • Marketing Campaigns
  • Media relations
  • Promotions
  • Produce video and television material
  • Public speaking
  • Publish of town-wide pieces, such as the Davie Update, the Parks and Recreation Guide, and Flood Hazard Information
  • Conduct resident surveys
  • Manage Website
