Professional Standards Division
The Professional Standards Division is responsible for staff inspections, accreditation, policy development, and planning and research. This unit also has the major functions of training both new and current employees along with performing background investigations and processing applicants for the Police Department.

Accreditation
The Davie Police Department has met or exceeded state accreditation standards set by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) since 2005.

Quartermaster
The Quartermaster supplies support and field services to members of the Davie Police Department.

Recruiting & Backgrounds
The Davie Police Department Backgrounds and Recruiting Unit is devoted to the recruitment and hiring of the best-qualified candidates available to serve the Davie community.

The Training Unit provides Department members with quality, contemporary training that serves to enhance their performance, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
