Garbage Truck The Town of Davie uses Waste Management automated garbage collection. The phone number is 954-974-7500. To speak with someone from the Town of Davie regarding garbage collection please call 954-797-1045.

Please note that if you live in the Town of Davie you must have garbage service at your residence or Davie business. Solid waste removal is a non ad valorem assessment on your tax bill if you are a single family resident. Not having garbage service is considered a violation of the Town’s ordinances.

Effective July 3, 2018

Changes to Davie Solid Waste Disposal and Recycling Services

The Town of Davie recently entered into a new contract for solid waste disposal services. As a result, residents will experience minor changes to their solid waste disposal services.

Beginning July 3, 2018, the following services will no longer be available:

ARC Ft. Lauderdale Household Electronics

The ARC Ft. Lauderdale will no longer accept household electronics to be recycled.

Bulk & Yard Waste Collection at College Avenue

Waste Management/Sun12 Facility located on College Avenue will no longer accept bulk and yard waste. 

These changes will not impact residential monthly or condo/multifamily quarterly bulk pick-up.

The Town will be continuing to hold four (4) Household Hazardous Waste/Electronics Recycling events annually.  The next Household Hazardous waste and Electronics Recycling drop-off event and Shred-A-Thon will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Shenandoah Park, 14601 SW 14th Street, Davie, FL 33314, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Shred-A-Thon will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. *Please note: Tires will not be accepted at the August 25th drop-off.
