DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie is continuing to monitor the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the change it has had on the way various agencies and businesses conduct services.

To safeguard the public and employees from the spread of COVID-19, all ACCESS storefronts and lobbies are currently closed to public access. With more than 90 percent of customers filing for benefits online or by phone, closing storefronts to protect our employees and the public is the best mitigation strategy to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The quickest way to make changes or check the status of your benefits, and avoid any wait time, is to use the ACCESS Self-Service Portal, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For information or to apply for food assistance (SNAP), cash assistance (TANF), Medicaid, log into the ACCESS Self-Service Portal, EBT cards, please visit https://www.myflorida.com/accessflorida/ or call 1-866-762-2237 or 850-300-4323 (TTY 1-800-955-8771).
IRS Issues Warning About COVID-19-related Scams
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is urging taxpayers to be on the lookout for a surge of calls and email phishing attempts about the Coronavirus, or COVID-19. These contacts can lead to tax-related fraud and identity theft. Taxpayers should watch not only for emails but text messages, websites and social media attempts that request money or personal information.
