
Cold Weather Emergency Advisory
- Shelters for the homeless to open at 6 p.m. on Sunday -
BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The National Weather Service is predicting low temperatures starting Sunday night in Broward County. Therefore, the County has declared a Cold Weather Emergency from 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, until 9 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2023.
Homeless persons are advised to report to the shelter no later than 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Please notify homeless persons in your area of this advisement. Space is very limited.
If the weather forecast changes to predict warmer or colder conditions, cold weather emergency shelter nights may be canceled or extended. If there are changes to this declaration, they will be issued no later than 1 p.m. on the date of the event.
