PUBLIC NOTICE: TOWN OF DAVIE UTILITIES DEPARTMENT TO COMMENCE A RECLAIMED WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ON MARCH 10, 2023
Water main improvements will occur along Southwest 58th Avenue between Southwest 36th Court and Southwest 39th Street.
DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie Utilities Department will commence a reclaimed water main improvement project in Playland Village along Southwest 58th Avenue between Southwest 36th Court and Southwest 39th Street (see map). The project is scheduled to begin on March 10 and is anticipated to conclude by July 31, 2023.
Work will be performed by Murphy Pipeline, Inc., and will include replacing the existing water main pipe.
What to Expect:
- Outdoor Noise – Construction sounds are expected to be minimal and produced by various machines.
- Traffic Disruptions - While construction crews are performing work, residents will experience no traffic disruptions.

About Reclaimed Water
A water reclamation process converts municipal wastewater (sewage) or industrial wastewater into water that can be used for various purposes. The process of reclaiming water starts with raw wastewater. This water is pumped from wastewater collection through underground pipes and lift stations throughout the Town.
