
BROWARD COUNTY AERIAL SPRAYING FOR MOSQUITOES RESCHEDULED

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – The aerial spraying scheduled originally scheduled for Monday, April 24, in parts of Davie, Southwest Ranches and Pembroke Pines is rescheduled for Friday, April 28, 2023, weather permitting. The aerial adulticide mission will be conducted between the hours of 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.
The aerial adulticide spraying is targeting nuisance mosquitoes associated with heavy rains/flooding from the recent storm. Broward County will utilize a chemical called Dibrom, also known as Naled.
Residents with breathing difficulties should remain indoors. People living in the area who have registered with the State to be alerted prior to spraying will be notified. You will find the map of the area attached below.
The Broward County Mosquito Control Section treats areas of the County by backpack, truck and plane based on surveillance efforts and service requests. You can request service by completing the Mosquito Service Request Form or calling 311.
