FLL Runways Will Temporarily Close for Routine
Maintenance, February 23-March 2, 2018
Broward County, FL – The Fort Lauderdale-HollywoodInternational Airport (FLL) will begin routine maintenance and will require alternating
closure of the North and South Runways beginning Friday, February 23, 2018.
Please take note of theclosure schedule:
- The North Runway (10L-28R) will
close for five days from 12:01 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. starting Friday, February 23through Wednesday, February 28. - The South Runway (10R-28L) will
close from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Wednesday, February 28, through Friday,March 2.
Crews
will remove rubber deposits and perform other required runway maintenance work.
During these closure periods, allarriving and departing flights will use the remaining open runway. For updates on airport programs and services, like FLL on
