County, FL – The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport(FLL) will be conducting rubber removal on Runway 10L/28R and Runway 10R/28L
from June 5 - 9, 2017. The runway rubber removal process will be conductedduring the overnight hours.
Each runway will be closed, one at a time, for rubber
removal, painting, and other maintenance items. One runway will always remainopen during the rubber removal process.
Please take note of the closure schedule:
- Runway 10L-28R will close for two days from 12:01 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Monday, June 5 through Wednesday, June 7.
- Runway
(10R-28L) will close for one for two days on Wednesday, June 7, at 10:30 p.m. throughFriday, June 9, at 6:00 a.m.
During these closure periods, all arriving and departing
flights will use the remaining open runway.
