THE TOWN OF DAVIE WILL HOST ITS ANNUAL POLICE AND FIRE EXPO ON
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2020
Davie’s Police and Fire Departments will come together to offer the community a fun-filled day to learn its operations.
DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie will be hosting its annual Police and Fire Expo featuring demonstrations from the Davie Police Department and Fire Rescue on February 8, 2020. The free event will be held at the Public Safety Complex, 1230 South Nob Hill Road, Davie, FL 33324 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
During the expo, attendees will have an opportunity to learn about Davie’s Police Department and Fire Rescue, go on tours of the respective stations and learn about state and local agencies. Children will also enjoy free activities including a petting zoo, meet-and-greets with McGruff the Crime Dog and Sparky the Fire Dog, participate in the Home Depot Kids Workshop, and try on fire gear.
Vehicles ranging from antique fire engines to a SWAT truck will be parked on the grounds for viewing. Food and refreshments will be sold throughout the day.
Individuals interested in attending can park at Fox Trail Elementary School (adjacent to the event) or Indian Ridge Middle School (across the street from the event).
