CITY OF SUNRISE UTILITIES TO COMMENCE A SEWER FORCE MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 

Location: Southwest 130th Avenue from Southwest 26th Street to Southwest 11th Place

DAVIE, Fla. – The City of Sunrise Utilities Department will conduct a sewer force main replacement project along Southwest 130th Avenue from Southwest 26th Street to Southwest 11th Place (see map). The project is anticipated to start on February 7, 2022, through Summer 2023. 

The project will be conducted by R.P. Utility & Excavation and includes the installation of approximately 6,200 linear feet of 8-inch sewer force main and the rehabilitation of lift station 309 located on Southwest 34th Place.

Individuals traveling along this roadway should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to avoid this route, if feasible. To assist traffic flow, the contractor will place informational traffic signage along the road.
