TOWN OF DAVIE ORANGE BLOSSOM CELEBRATION STARTS ON FEB. 25, 2022

Celebrate the 85th annual festival with a movie in the park, festivities, parade and a rodeo!

 

DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie will be hosting its 85th Annual Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo beginning Friday, Feb. 25, 2022. The parade’s theme this year is “Hold Your Horses, It’s Orange Blossom Time.” The Orange Blossom Festival and Parade will take place on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at its new location, Pine Island Park (Bamford Sports Complex), 3801 S. Pine Island Road, Davie, FL. 

Friday, Feb. 25, 2022: Movie in the Park

Join us for a movie in the park from 6 to 9 p.m. as we kick off Orange Blossom with an excerpt of the “State of the Rodeo” documentary followed by the Disney feature-film “Jungle Cruise”. Individuals are asked to arrive early to enjoy family activities, vendor booths and food and beverages which will be available for sale. 

Gates open at 5 p.m. Seating areas are on a first come, first serve basis and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. 

Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022: Parade, Festival and Rodeo

Festival grounds open at 9 a.m. for the Orange Blossom festival. Activities include:

  • Arts and crafts vendors
  • Kids rides and activities
  • Petting farm
  • Cowboy Town historical display
  • Kiwanis Pancake Festival
  • Strawberry Shortcake festival
  • Parade Grand Marshal Kiss Country 99.9 TC and Dina B. 
  • 4H farmers market, and more!
  • Food and beverages available for purchase. 

The Orange Blossom Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Live music and entertainment starts at 1 p.m. with performances from the South Florida Cloggers, Jacob Velazquez, RemaDee, The New Shadow Creek band and Mr. Nice Guy. 

At 8 p.m., the Red, White and Country Laser Light Show will wrap up the evening! Please note that pets and coolers are not permitted at the park. 

Orange Blossom Rodeo

The Orange Blossom Rodeo will be held at Bergeron Rodeo Grounds, 4201 Rodeo Way, on Saturday Feb. 26, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, at 2 p.m. Purchase your tickets at www.DavieProRodeo.com.

Parking

Parking for the Movie in the Park, parade and festival will be available at the Bamford Sports Complex. Attendees should enter through the park’s main entrance on Pine Island Road.

Additional parking for the Orange Blossom celebration will be available at the designated area at Davie Town Hall, 6591 Davie Rd. Shuttle buses between Davie Town Hall and Bamford Sports Complex will be available every 30 minutes beginning at 9 a.m. Parking is free at both locations. 

Old Davie School Historical Museum

The Orange Blossom celebration will continue with fun events at the Old Davie School Historical Museum on: 

  • Feb. 26 
    1. Walk for Education at 8 a.m. 
    2. Free admission to the Historical Museum from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
  • Feb. 27
    1. Car Show and Flea Market from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
