No. Your container will be swapped out during one of your regularly scheduled garbage pickup service dates and replaced with the new container. If you have received your new container and your old WM container was not picked up, please send your name, address, and telephone number to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will coordinate with Coastal to have it removed.
The Town does not expect the garbage carts to be left out for an entire month to accommodate the swap out. We understand some HOAs and COAs have strict rules and we do not want residents to violate those rules. To provide some clarification, Coastal Waste & Recycling will start issuing containers based on the service sections (see bulleted list below). Coastal will start swapping out containers for residents who reside west of Flamingo, then from Flamingo to Pine Island, and then east of Pine Island Road.
