1. Where can I find out information about upcoming rodeos?

1. What is the Town of Davie refund policy?

Class Cancellations - Full refunds will be granted if classes, activities or rentals are cancelled by the Town. Refunds will be processed in a timely manner. Please return a copy of your receipt or your confirmation card. Instructors, activity dates, locations, fees and times are subject to change by the Town.

Participant Refunds - Prior to the first day of any activity, class, or rental refunds will be issued upon written request. A $20.00 administrative fee will be deducted from the original fee. After the first day of an activity, class, or rental there will be no refunds.

2. Where and what times may I register my child for upcoming sports?

One easy way to register for any of our programs is to call 954-797-1145 and request that a registration form be sent to you. Registration forms may also be obtained by downloading them from our website. Once the registration form is completely filled out (one form per child per sport) mail it or bring it in person along with your check or money order, and proof of residency (copy of a current utility bill) to the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Administration Office, Davie Pine Island Aquatics and Fitness Center or the Davie Pine Island Multipurpose Facility. 3. What would I need to do to get involved in coaching a sport?

Coaching applications can be obtained by clicking Here or by contacting the sports staff at the Davie Pine Island Park. Each applicant will be required to successfully complete a background check and fingerprints before they will be eligible to coach. 4. What happens if I cannot attend the scheduled player ratings?

In all of our recreational programs (excluding all star, and travel programs) even if a child does not attend the player ratings, they will still be placed on a team.

5. What times do the parks open and close?

They are open January through December from 9 a.m. to dusk.

6. Do you allow dogs in your parks?

Yes, dogs are allowed in our parks as long as they are on a 6 foot leash and under control of owner at all times, except at Pine Island Park, Bamford Sports Complex, Potter Park, and Shenandoah (not allowed on sports field at Shenandoah Park)

Please be considerate and clean up after your pet, this insures a pleasant time at our parks for everyone.

7. How can I schedule an appointment to view a facility?

Appointments may be scheduled by contacting the Park Ranger.

8. Can I come early to decorate if I have reserved a facility?

Pavilion Rentals – you may arrive any time before the time on your contract to decorate. The bathrooms will not be opened until the time stated on your contract.

Room Rentals – all activities including decorating, setups and clean up must be done during the scheduled reservation time, as the facility will not be opened until the time stated on your contract.

9. Can I reserve a room at the Davie Pine Island Multipurpose Facility for a private party?

Yes, to obtain information regarding availability you can email the Davie Pine Island Multipurpose Facility.

10. Who do I contact to find out about the Craft Shows?

1. Where are you located?

The Bergeron Rodeo Grounds of Davie, Florida are located at 4271 Davie Road, Davie, FL. Special Events administrative offices are located at Pine Island Park 3801 S Pine Island Road Davie, FL 33328.

2. Can I get directions to your location?

From I-95, take I-595 West to Davie Road South. It is approximately 2 ½ miles on the right hand side. You will see a statue of a white horse and a sign reading “Bergeron Rodeo Grounds”. You can also find it on Google Maps.

3. When do the rodeos take place and what time do they start?

The Jackpot Rodeos take place every Wednesday night and start at approximately 7 p.m. The Davie Pro Rodeo is held various times throughout the year. The gates open at 6 p.m. and the rodeo starts at 7:30 p.m. Find current dates on the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds page.

4. What time are the rodeos over?

All rodeos are approximately 2 hours long. The Jackpot Rodeos will end about 9 p.m. and the Davie Pro Rodeos end about 10 p.m.

5. How much does it cost for the rodeos and where can I purchase tickets?

Jackpot Rodeo admission is $4 and Davie Pro Rodeo advance tickets cost $18 for adults and $8 for children ages 3-12. You can purchase advance tickets at Grif’s Western or www.davieprorodeo.com. You can also charge by phone by calling 954-680-3555. Tickets are also available at the gate and cost $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-12. 6. What other type of events do you offer?

We offer a variety of other events, including dog shows, dog obedience classes, horse shows, concerts, car shows, specialty shows, industrial shows, arts & crafts shows, etc.

7. Do you offer dog obedience classes?

8. How can I obtain an application/information for upcoming craft shows?

9. When is the next Actor’s Community Theater of Davie production?

10. Where can I purchase tickets for the next ACT production?

You can purchase tickets at the Pine Island Multi-Purpose Facility. Tickets cost $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

11. Do you offer any drama classes? When do they take place and how much?
