All Vendors,

Due to current circumstances that are occurring with the COVID-19 virus the following provisions will be made moving forward as of today 3/13/20.

  • All pre-bid and pre-proposal conferences will be held via conference call. A call-in number will be provided in lieu of a location.

  • Solicitations will include pictures and videos in lieu of site visits.  If a site visit is imperative, Town staff will arrange access, on a case by case basis.

  • The Town will begin using E-Bidding from Demandstar. Vendors will now be required to submit all bid documents electronically through www.demandstar.com. The cost to a vendor for using Demandstar is either free for one agency or $25 per County per year. A full instructional guide on how to submit documents will be included with every solicitation. The Town will maintain documentation on it’s own website at www.davie-fl.gov/purchasing for general public information and posting requirements.   

  • Bid openings and review committee meetings will continue to be public meetings. However, the Town does video record these events and makes them available within 48hrs. We encourage the use of these videos in lieu of attendance.
  • Quarterly vendor training session are suspended until further notice.

  • The Town is respectfully requesting that your employees do not come to Town facilities if they are not feeling well or are sick for whatever reason.
